Create and Connect: How to draw red pandas  | Age 8-12
Price: $120.00 total per student  
1 hour class | once a week for 6 weeks  | class minimum 3 students, max 6 students 
Dates/Times: Fridays from 9:00 to 10:00 am PT;  Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10  

Description:  Create and and Connect classes are designed to foster conversation among students as they draw in addition to providing instruction in art skills.  In this class, students will learn to draw and shade red pandas realistically. Fine art techniques will be taught through demonstrations and exercises focusing on the specific skills and techniques needed for drawing from photos of red pandas that each student chooses as well as those I’ve planned for us to draw together. How to draw realistic red panda proportions, photorealistic eyes, and fur texture are a few of the skills that will be included.  Students are welcome to work in graphite, colored pencil, or charcoal.  Individual feedback is given during each class.  The Zoom platform will be used.  

  • Supply list: pencil, paper, and eraser is sufficient for this class.  Colored pencil is welcome and beautiful on plain white paper or toned grey paper.  Charcoal is best when used on toned paper along with a white pastel pencil.

 How to Draw Portraits  | Age 8-12
Price: $80.00 total per student  
1 hour class | once a week for 4 weeks  | class minimum 3 students, max 6 students

Description:  In this class, students will learn to draw and shade portraits realistically. Fine art techniques will be taught through demonstrations and exercises focusing on the specific skills and techniques needed for drawing from photos of people that each student chooses as well as studies I’ve planned for us to draw together. How to draw the correct facial proportions, photorealistic eyes, and hair texture are a few of the skills that will be included.  Students are welcome to work in graphite, colored pencil, or charcoal.  Individual feedback is given during each class.  The Zoom platform will be used.

Famous Artists | Age 8 -12
Price: $205.00 
1 hour classes | once a week for 12 weeks  | class minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8 students 
Date/Time: Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 pm PT |  January 31, February 7, 14, 28, March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 11, 18, 25, May 2

Description:  In this class, each student will pick their favorite famous artist’s artwork for us to study, copy, and find inspiration from. Fine art techniques of drawing and painting used by the famous artists will be taught.  A different famous artist will be learned about in every class.  Individual feedback is given in each class.  The Zoom platform will be used. 

  • Supply list: pencil, eraser, and white paper are essential;  watercolors and watercolor paper or acrylic and cardstock paper or other paper suitable for acrylic paints;  oil pastels (recommended but colored pencils may be used instead); colored pencils; white pastel pencil; toned tan paper; black mixed media paper or black construction paper for younger students

Animals of the Safari  | Age 8-12
Price: $170.00 total per student  
1 hour class | once a week for 10 weeks  | class minimum 4 students, max 8 students 
Dates/Times: Tuesdays from 11:00 to 12:00 pm PT;  Jan. 30, Feb. 6, 13, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 10, 17

Description:  In this class, students will learn to draw, shade, and paint safari animals realistically. Fine art techniques will be taught through demonstrations and exercises focusing on the specific skills and techniques needed for drawing and painting safari animals that each student chooses and those I’ve planned for us to draw as well.  Students will draw from photos they have chosen as well as photos I use in my instruction.  How to draw realistic animal proportions, photorealistic eyes, and fur texture are a few of the skills that will be included.  Students are welcome to work in graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, and/or acrylics.  Individual feedback is given during each class.  The Zoom platform will be used.
